Three teenagers killed in north Queensland car crash
Three teenagers have died in a car crash in north Queensland overnight.
Emergency services were called to Mackay Ring Road in the Mackay suburb of Glenella about 10:30pm after reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles.
Police allege three teenagers were travelling in a Mazda sedan when it collided head-on with another car, with a third vehicle also becoming involved.
Two teenage boys and a teenage girl were declared dead at the scene.
Three other people were assessed for injuries, with one man taken to Mackay Base Hospital with minor leg injuries.
The Forensic Crash unit is investigating.
Authorities have urged anyone with information or relevant dash-cam footage to contact police.
